PEFC

PEFC Certification

Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification

PEFC is an internationally recognised forest certification system that promotes responsible forest management and sustainable sourcing of fibre-based products.

PEFC certification provides assurance that the paper, board or fibre used in the product has been sourced from responsibly managed forests and controlled sources. Where PEFC-certified material is supplied, the relevant chain-of-custody documentation can be provided to support customer, retailer or regulatory requirements.

FSC

FSC Certification

Forest Stewardship Council

FSC is a globally recognised certification system for responsibly sourced forest products. FSC certification confirms that the fibre used in certified products has been sourced from responsibly managed forests, recycled sources, or other controlled sources in accordance with FSC standards.

Where FSC-certified products are supplied, we can provide supporting chain-of-custody information and certification details — giving customers confidence that material has been sourced in line with recognised sustainability and responsible forestry principles.

Food-Grade

Food-Grade Accreditation

Suitable for food-contact and food-adjacent applications

Food-grade accreditation confirms that paper or packaging materials are suitable for their intended use in food-contact or food-adjacent applications, subject to the product specification and end-use conditions.

Food-grade materials are manufactured and supplied in accordance with relevant food safety requirements — including controls around raw materials, production hygiene, contamination prevention and traceability. Where applicable, supporting documentation such as food-contact declarations, migration testing, supplier compliance statements and technical data sheets can be provided.

For food packaging applications it is important that the final packaging design, printing, coatings, adhesives and storage conditions are also assessed to ensure compliance with the intended use.

ISO 9001

ISO 9000 / ISO 9001 Quality Management

Internationally recognised quality management standards

ISO 9000 refers to the internationally recognised family of quality management standards. ISO 9001 is the certifiable standard within this family and sets out the requirements for a formal quality management system.

ISO 9001 certification demonstrates that a business has documented processes for quality control, customer requirements, traceability, corrective action, continuous improvement and management responsibility.

Suppliers operating under an ISO 9001 quality management system are expected to maintain consistent production standards, control non-conforming products, monitor supplier performance and ensure that customer specifications are properly managed throughout the supply chain.

Summary

Together, PEFC, FSC, food-grade accreditation and ISO 9001 quality management provide customers with confidence that products are responsibly sourced, appropriately controlled, fit for purpose, and supplied under recognised quality and compliance systems.

These accreditations support our commitment to responsible sourcing, food safety, product consistency, and long-term supply reliability for customers across paper, packaging, and fibre-based applications.
